About Sarah

If you have been a regular of the studio, you may have seen Sarah around before. Her trademark blue hair and 5’10 frame is difficult to miss, making a great spot when trying to find her in a festival crowd. Normally Sarah works ‘behind the scenes’ on all things digital, using her many years of e-commerce experience. Recently, Sarah has swapped a computer for a tattoo machine and is training as an apprentice under Mark Weatherhead.

Sarah works in her natural illustrative blackwork style, with a particular love for nature, wildlife and organic forms. Her work is rooted in strong composition and movement, often drawing inspiration from British wildlife, botanical forms and the natural world.

Sarahs background is not rooted soley to the digital world. Sarah’s background is actually heavily built on the creative arts including art, design, photography, creative direction, modelling, drama and digital design. This combination means sarah brings a highly visual and detail focused approach to tattooing. She enjoys developing ideas collaboratively with clients, taking a concept and shaping it into something that feels individual, balanced and made for the person wearing it.

Her current work explores illustrative blackwork, wildlife, botanicals and darker natural imagery. Sarah welcomes both first time and experienced clients, and aims to create a comfortable, inclusive space for her clients.
